Upcoming Newsletter

In between applying finish to the boxes for the Element, measuring dimensions for mattress coverings, creating magnetic mosquito curtains, managing packing lists, and a myriad of other tasks, it may have seemed like this blog isn’t getting the attention that it deserves. I would have to agree… at least outwardly. I have been working behind the scenes to make sure that I can easily edit and manage my site from any coffee shop in Middle of Nowhere, USA without it falling apart as soon as I get out of contact.

One of the issues that I am trying to tackle is how best to actively keep people abreast of my travels and experiences. Is it email subscriptions that remind subscribers every time I post anything (yikes)? Is it linking my site to Twitter or Instagram? or is it simple blog posts that people have to actively seek out? It is clear to me in this day and age that all of those are necessary to reach different groups of people and drive content in their direction. I would like, however, to do a little more. As soon as I begin my trip, I am going to start writing a newsletter every week or so. My goal is to make my travel as accessible as possible, so the newsletter will highlight a few major adventures, feature a tasty recipe, show a map of my recent travels, talk about gear usage, show a man bun update, etc. all the while linking back to this site if anyone wants to dig a little deeper. It will make following along just as effortless as it is fun (hopefully). I promise not to inundate your inboxes with a flurry of boring images or aimless chatter. The material in the newsletter will be carefully curated to be engaging, but also to give a fair and true representation of how my trip is going. So, I would encourage you to sign up below (you will have to confirm the subscription via email) and see what they are like over the next few weeks. There is also a sign up form in the sidebar of each post, so you can subscribe (or unsubscribe) at any time. No pressure either way!

Man bun updates are definitely top priority.
