Whether I am working as a history teacher in front of a classroom of (sometimes) eager students or lecturing around a campfire after a long day on trail, I am a storyteller. On this website, I have tried to document my own story or the stories of others that I have happened across. The process of writing all of those stories down has helped me develop as a writer, although I know that I still have much to learn. Over the course of my travels, my work has been most notably published in the New York Times, which has opened up opportunities that I never could have imagined.
