Even though I do the vast majority of my content creation on my Macbook Air, I rarely travel with it. Obviously, I will have it on my road trip, but I will not take it with me when I am in Europe. Knowing that, I began searching for a full-size keyboard that would pair well with my iPad Mini.
Before I began my search, I had been using the full-size, wireless Apple keyboard. It integrated seamlessly with the iPad, but was rather large and unnecessarily heavy. So I knew that I was looking for something slightly smaller, with noteworthy battery life, durable, and definitely lighter weight. I wasn’t anti-folding keyboard, but it was not a priority for me. After perusing waterproof cases for the Apple keyboard, many folding keyboards, a couple non-full-size options, I finally stumbled upon Logitech’s Keys-To-Go keyboard. Right away, I was pretty sure that this was the keyboard for me.
Weighing in at a mere 6.4 oz, the Logitech Keys-To-Go keyboard touted a battery that could last a month and could resist spills or rain. Sounds like my kind of case. It eventually came to me by way of a Christmas present! I have used it multiple times since, including to write this post! At first, I was little wary of the fact that I would not actually be touching the keys themselves, rather a rubberized external coating. I was pleasantly surprised when the mechanical keys beneath proved just as responsive, but were silent! Pretty cool.
I will be putting this keyboard to serious use this summer. Stay tuned for my thoughts after putting through its paces!
